Print! - Burn baby burn :P

Firstly I arranged my prints into the simple arched fireplace shape so as to see how big it was going to be and how I need to cut and adjust my prints.
I then cut a semi circle out from the top to create an arch.

And filled in the gaps to complete the arch

I decided that the background of my fire place should be a charcoal colour black to make my dry point prints stand out. I painted 3 strips of lining paper (about 150cm each) with black poster paint mixed with a little white. I allowed them to dry before taping them together at the back.

I stuck my arch made from my fire place prints onto the three sheets of black lining paper. I then took my cancer cell prints and cut them out in different sized circles (cells) and stuck them into the fireplace, starting with red on the bottom, orange and then purple on top.

I am very happy with the way it turned out in the end!
